Dear Michael
I recently came across your website and noticed that you have a section for children.
My son of 8 years has recently been diagnosed as ADD. His teacher says that he is brilliant with answering questions verbally, but struggles to write the answers down. She says that he has a wonderful mind and is concerned that he will not reach his full potential unless he is placed on Ritalin.
We took him to the doctor who confirmed the ADD, we could not afford the neurologist.
My husband and I have decided that we would prefer not to medicate him as the side effects of the drugs are severe.
I have been into the internet and come across the Dore program and Learning Breakthrough Program, unfortunately they are just too pricey for us and we simply cannot afford them. At the moment we only have one income which is not always set, and husband is currently without income.
I ask if you could assist with any exercises which he can do on a daily basis which will help stimulate the cerebellum and thus improve his condition.
I have him on a natural vitamin supplement and have rectified his diet, but do feel that a program of exercises will also be beneficial. He is an emotional child and cries easily. Is this normal of a child with ADD?
I will spread the word as I deal with clients on a daily basis and I know for a fact that a few of their kids are ADD and ADHD.
As soon as I receive the DVD, I will monitor his progress and will most certainly send you a review.
Once again I really thank you, you have no idea how elated I feel that there is someone out there that is willing to take the time you have to assist us.
Kind regards
Cynclaire.
